Terms
Last updated 3 June 2026
The simple deal for using Dinner Party Games. By playing, you're agreeing to this.
The short version
- It's free and provided as-is.
- Be cool — don't abuse it or post nasty stuff.
- It's a side project, so it might change or go down.
The basics
Dinner Party Games is a free collection of party games you play on your own phones around a table. There are no accounts — anyone with a room's 5-character code can join it, so only share codes with people you actually want in your game.
Playing nicely
When you use Dinner Party Games, you agree not to:
- Use it to harass, bully, or harm other players.
- Put anything illegal, hateful, or abusive into the text you type — names, clues, custom words, and the like.
- Try to break, overload, hack, or abuse the service.
- Use it for anything against the law where you are.
We can remove content or block access if someone's ruining it for everyone.
The stuff you type
You're responsible for what you enter. We don't claim ownership of it — you just give us permission to show it to the other players in your room so the game can work.
Availability
This is a side project. We'll do our best to keep it running and in sync, but we can't promise it'll always be up, bug-free, or unchanged — we may add, change, or retire games over time.
As-is, no warranty
Dinner Party Games is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using (or not being able to use) it.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll change the “last updated” date at the top. Carrying on playing means you're okay with the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
